Martin Batchelar

Martin Batchelar is a composer and arranger of music for theatre, film, television, and recording artists. His arranging work features The Who, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Emeli Sandé, Cliff Richard, Alfie Boe, Heather Small, Sheridan Smith, and Cassidy Janson.

Martin is the co-composer, orchestrator and musical supervisor of new musical Lovestuck, which opens at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in June 2025.  He has written music for numerous live shows across Europe, including large-scale spectaculars for Puy du Fou in France, Spain, and China.  He is also the composer for podcast phenomenon My Dad Wrote A Porno, with over 500 million downloads, two sell-out world tours, and an HBO comedy special.  His music regularly features on international television, with advertising for such brands as Coca-Cola, Citroën, Heineken Formula 1 and Disneyland. 

Martin has conducted at Abbey Road Studios, AIR Lyndhurst, and 20th Century Fox, with work performed at the Royal Albert Hall, New York Metropolitan Opera, and the Hollywood Bowl.
